22 Fellows Talk 4 “From underdog to favorite – winning back to back World Championships” For a brief introduction, eSports is a very high-level competition of video games. As today it is a growing scene, it’s known worldwide in every region of the world, with very big competitions held in full stadiums. Very big things are at stake, where it has surpassed certain traditional sports in terms of what is at stake, in terms of audiences, economical background, the ecosystem and everything around it. In the last 10-15 years is really when we have seen e-sport boom and explode to what it is today. It does create a lot of challenges for new e-sport players because the structure behind the teams and the players is definitely not the same as it is in other sports. I am thinking about the management, the psychologist, the nutritionist. Basically, the staff around the teams and players. I am myself a professional player, with my team OG. It is a Dota team, Dota2 being one of the big e-sports title worldwide. We have won the world championship twice in 2018 & 2019.
