This is our dream at NASA, this is the space shuttle Endeavor, we don’t fly shuttles anymore at NASA, we retired them so that we can go to the moon and beyond. Here you can see the space shuttle Endeavor on her last flight, the cargo bay is empty, we are flying over planet earth at 28,000 km/h, all humans live down there and now only 8-10 of us live in space. Yet, if we look out here, we have the rest of the universe to explore. We need all the human team on earth to stop fighting and put all our energy, money and brains together to go and explore space to make life on planet earth better. In summary, what makes a successful spaceflight is the same thing that makes a successful team, you must have faith in your team. Focus on your part, don’t worry about them, work on your parts, don’t manage their parts in your head, manage your own job so they can have faith in you. Keep moving forward, focus on the wining in front of you instead of whatever happened behind you. Become a master of your craft, accept criticism, accept coaching and manage your emotions, be calm, be passionate, know when to be different.
