Aspire in the World Fellows Book - 2022
27 26 Kevin Ehmes – Swiss Football Association For us, video is a big part. We show it at halftime and if we could, we would even show it at training sessions. We also show some stats at the beginning of a session but at the end of the day, we want to see the video. The players love to see themselves on the screen and I think a big key is also to involve the players, maybe in the meeting we haven’t discussed it, how do you approach it? Do you involve the players? I also experienced that women want to be more involved in meetings because they want to discuss, and this is like the individual approach we talked about; you need to understand your players. If you feel you can throw in that stat and show them you didn’t do those runs like last time, or you didn’t do the number of sprints as you did in that game, then it shows them something. But at the end of the day, we always end up with video.
