31 30 Manuel La Puente – FC Barcelona Communicating data always starts with the way the staff work, and how the head coach prefers to get the information. We respect the personal idea of each head coach. But apart from that, day by day they work all together. So, when the fitness coach detects any sign that not just from GPS data, from wellness during the morning or RPE at the end of the session, when he detects something that calls his attention they discuss internally. They combine also with the ideas of their technical staff, not just the head coach but everybody. What they have seen something for a particular player, they directly discuss. They also have the reports, and when something happens or a sign appears, they communicate with me in order to discuss it. Apart from that, it’s two-three weeks of different meetings, they explain what the evolution is, if they can see it and if there is any sign that calls their attention in the evolution of the data. If there is something special, we discuss it before doing anything. We are also trying to unify a sort of report for the session, match day, week, and profiling, let’s say a general FCB report, to classify them depending on whom we want to give that report. However, we maintain the freedom for each of those four teams to do what they are used to, considering that, for example, in our second team we have fitness coaches and sports scientists.
